Usage and Directions

1. 1. A standard IV chelation course is 30 treatments. Since three suppositories generally equal the chelation strength of one IV treatment, 90 suppositories is suggested to provide the equivalent of a full IV chelation course.

   2. Use one suppository nightly, preferably before bedtime. This product is gentle and safe for regular use, but it is also important to give your body occasional rest days as needed.

   3. Insert one suppository 2 to 3 hours after your last meal to allow for natural bowel clearance.

   4. Lie on your side or back for 10 minutes after insertion to maximize absorption.

   5. Kelate4Life can be used nightly for at least 90 days for an initial detox period, and up to 180 days for those with higher body burdens. After completing this phase, ongoing detox support can be continued with either suppositories or Detoxacream.

When Suppositories Are Used

Rectal delivery is used because it provides the most amount of EDTA to the body with the exception of an intravenous drip. EDTA is a compound that is highly sensitive to acid, so if taken orally, you will not get the benefit. Because it is used rectally, direct absorption occurs which  bypasses first-pass liver metabolism, allowing higher utilization while placing less strain on the digestive system.

How To Use a Suppository

• A brief urge to move your bowels may occur; it usually subsides quickly.

4. Aftercare

• Remain lying down for about ten minutes.

• Clean the area gently with a damp cloth; avoid perfumed soaps.

• Dispose of packaging properly and wash your hands again.

How Long To Wait Before a Bowel Movement

Most suppositories need at least one to three hours to dissolve completely and for absorption to occur. Try to avoid having a bowel movement during that period so the active ingredients have time to work.
